ASHAIMAN TO THE WORLD CONCERT(THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY)

The much awaited Ashaiman to the world concert finally took place last week Saturday the 30th of September and it was magical. The concert was a free concert and got super hyped because of the artists on board. Stonebwoy represented obviously, alongside Shatta Wale, Lil Win, Patapaa Amisty, Bullet Mungunyaro and other great acts. The concert took place on the famous Sakasaka park in Ashaiman and to even think that the place got full was just amazing, massive support in all angles and I will say that this show is a record breaking success. Now that is the good side.

fans came in their numbers to support their stars. Massive!

Now lets go to the the bad. The bad side isn't that bad but hey that is my opinion, it might seem worse to you. Lets start with the lighter bad. Apparently as the show was going on, it started raining and this was the fear of many people who attended the concert but it was just some light showers and most fans even enjoyed it to the fullest. I think the rain even gave the fans more strength to show massive support, so thats just a light bad section and we can let it slide. Next is one that really made me sad. I saw a video which looked like Stonebwoy was out through his cars sunroof trying to wave to the fans to show his appreciation and his presence and as usual the white elephants in the crowd never seems to amaze anyone any more. Someone threw an object at Stonebwoy which kind of hit his head and forced him to enter back into the vehicle to prevent getting hurt. I mean seriously? on home grounds? How can you throw an object towards the star of the show with the aim of hurting him? Anyway apart from all that ruckus, Stonebwoy delivered a massive performance and his energy never died down.

Now one thing we got to realize also was  Lil Win, Im always on this dude. First of all, what he wore  will put you off. Fam, we in Ghana, whats with the shorts with American flag on it? No disrespect, but this is a Ghanaian show, a show that is suppose to create much awareness about Ghana music and you put on American flag themed shorts? Okk next thing was, Patapaa shared the same stage as Lil Win, Patapaa moved the crowd, his energy was on point and when One Corner dropped, everyone went crazy!! Lil Win on the other hand didnt quite move the crowd and it seems people weren't that interested in his performance. That was a downer, the crowd should have cheered him on a little louder but sometimes you dont always get what you want.

Massive energy by Stonebwoy
Now lets get to the ugly and this made me both sad, angry and disgusted! Stonebwoy came on stage, with a lot of positive vibe, reunited friendship with Shatta wale on stage and delivered a great performance. All that time Stonebwoy was on stage delivering his best, he wasnt okay deep within but the fact that nobody could see it  shows how strong he was. I dont know what I should call this but I think there was an attempt to hurt Stonebwoy and it backfired and got his wife before Stonebwoy was even stepping on stage. Someone used a sharp object to cut through the tent Stonebwoy used to get himself ready for the concert and the cut was actually targeted at Stonebwoy, but instead, his wife was in the way and she took a cut at her back and was quickly rushed to the hospital. After giving the massive performance, Stonebwoy rushed to the hospital to check up on his wife.

Sometimes I pray that some Ghanaians will gain wisdom and understand how much an asset some of these musicians are, someone like Stonebwoy has brought a positive image to the Ghanaian music industry with all his hard work and humility and all Ghanaians could have thanked him for was almost killing him and hurting his wife in the end? Today Monday the 3rd of October, 2017, the wife was discharged from the hospital and is in good condition. We thank you Stonebwoy for this concert and we pray for long life and higher heights for you.
